ASTRON (full title 'Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy') explores the Universe using a type of invisible light called Radio Waves (the same light that brings us music from our favourite ‘radio’ stations). ASTRON has built a series of instruments that can detect this light, including a huge radio dish called the Dwingeloo telescope that is used by schools in the Netherlands to explore the night sky!
